Spiritual poetry by Anderson Scott. These messages are held dear to me as God laid them in my heart to share with the world. It is an honor to be the person conveying the spirit through poetry and writing. It’s very interesting how God moves, He took someone who had no interest in writing and used them to become a Poet.
If I’m being truly honest, it’s like He turned on a faucet in my heart, and words begin to pour from it onto the paper. All my emotions, thoughts, and anything that might catch my eyes. It’s like He turned on every sensor I had and those I didn’t know I had. Made them so sensitive that the slightest movement would trigger a reaction, and I start writing.
It didn’t matter what I was doing; I would have to grab a piece of paper and start writing, and it’s so strong that if I didn’t have something to write on, it just plays over and over in my mind, or if I thought the urge would be gone, because I couldn’t write in that moment. It’s like God knew I didn’t have access to something to write on, and it would come back, pouring out of me onto the paper.
I was never one for writing; it just wasn’t me, or so I thought. I’m always amazed at what causes my trigger to start writing. I honestly have no idea most of the time, what’s at the top of the page by the time I get to the bottom of the page. I truly feel an urge to pour very strongly, and words become a poem that God intended for the world to have.

I believe my life is a journey, divinely appointed. To plant love in the souls of everyone I meet.
Planted In Love was born out of my desire to share God’s love. God has shown me that we are all souls just trying to heal and need His love to do so. My life’s journey has been one of horrific racial pain.
A child who survived the Jim Crow South, looking at white’s only signs, to enduring desegregation of the public schools, to the racism of the North. I moved back down South, where I first met God for myself as a young man, and immediately words begin to pour from my heart onto the paper. I then fell out of the Church into prison. Where I met God, now as a more mature man.
I believe He was preparing me, to truly love my neighbor, even if he was my enemy.
Looking back now, I see it in all my writing. Which has led me to create this website,
to share His Love with all mankind unconditionally. I am blessed with the love and support of my children,
my family and close friends. Who continue to share this spiritual journey with me.
